Japanese Tea House Demolished – Land Cleared
The Japanese Tea House in Uptown Westerville is reduced to rubble Wednesday as the last building on the property is demolished. The abandoned buildings and shrine were demolished after the buildings fell into disrepair when it’s original owners died and new owner failed to maintain its condition. The property was purchased by the city which has yet to decide how to use the soon to be cleared land.
